Right Click CPS Test
This test counts how many times you can click the right mouse button in 5 seconds. The context menu is turned off inside the widget, so your clicks never get interrupted by a pop-up. Right click to start the timer, then spam the right button until the clock runs out.

How to read your result

Why right-click is usually slower than left
For most people the index finger sits on the left button and does the everyday clicking, so it is simply more trained. The middle finger handles right-click and tends to be less precise for fast tapping. On the mouse itself the story is similar. Many designs tune the left switch for the lightest, most consistent actuation because it takes the most use, while the right switch can feel slightly heavier or return a touch slower. Add those together and a 2 to 4 click gap between your left and right scores over 5 seconds is completely normal. If your right number is close to your left, that is a sign of a well-balanced hand and a mouse with matched switches.
Where right-click speed actually matters
In Minecraft the right button does a lot of the fast work. Placing blocks, bridging across gaps, and building up a tower all lean on quick, even right-clicks. Eating food, drinking potions, blocking with a shield, and using a bow or crossbow are right-click actions too, so in PvP your right-hand speed can decide a trade. Outside Minecraft, right-click often maps to aiming down sights, secondary fire, or the alternate tool in many games. A test like this will not turn you into a better player on its own, but it shows you how fast and how evenly your right button can fire when you need a burst.
Mouse buttons and why some handle right-click spam worse
Every click runs through a mechanical switch under the button. Cheaper or older switches can bounce, which the mouse firmware filters out with a short debounce delay. When you spam fast, that debounce can swallow clicks, so your real speed looks lower than it feels. Right switches sometimes get less careful tuning than the main left switch on budget mice, so right-click spam is where a worn or noisy switch shows up first. If your right-click score is much lower than your left and clicks feel like they drop out, try a different mouse. A gaming mouse with fresh, well-rated switches will register fast right-clicks far more reliably.
Technique for a higher right-click score
Three common methods carry over from left-click. Normal clicking taps the button with one finger and tops out around 6 or 7 per second for most people. Jitter clicking tenses your forearm to make the finger vibrate, which pushes into the 8 to 12 range but is hard to control and can strain your arm. Butterfly clicking alternates two fingers on the same button, though it works best on the wide left button and is trickier on the narrower right one. Whatever you try, keep a light grip, rest your wrist, and stop if anything starts to ache. Speed that costs you a sore hand is not worth it.

What is a good right click CPS score?
On our scale, 27 to 35 right-clicks in 5 seconds (about 5.4 to 7 per second) is average. Above 35 is fast, and 45 or more is very fast.
Why is my right-click slower than my left-click?
Your left index finger gets far more practice, and many mice tune the left switch for lighter, faster actuation. A small gap between the two is normal.
Does the context menu pop up during the test?
No. The widget disables the right-click context menu, so you can spam the right button without any menu interrupting your count.
How is this different from the regular CPS test?

Can I improve my right-click speed?
Yes. Short practice sessions, a lighter grip, and a mouse with good switches all help. Jitter and butterfly techniques go faster but take control and can strain your hand.
Does my mouse affect the result?
